Inflatable life raft

This raft fully inflates in 10 to 25 seconds after being dropped, using liquefied carbon dioxide gas (partially mixed with N2 gas). The boarding ramp automatically unfolds, allowing passengers and the crew to board the raft safely.

Vertical descent chute boarding system

The Fujikura Chute ensures that in the event of an accident involving a high-sided vessel, such as a car ferry, passengers and the crew can safely and quickly exit the vessel and board a lifesaving apparatus on the water. (This system can still be used even when the vessel is inclined 10 to 20 degrees.)
