Strengthening initiatives to enhance engagement
We conduct regular evaluations to ensure that each employee is able to perform to their fullest capacity and continue to grow. In addition, an in-house extracurricular system was introduced in April 2022 to create opportunities for employees to socialize and to improve their physical and mental health, thereby stimulating communication beyond the workplace.
In August 2024, we conducted an employee engagement survey. Based on the survey results, in FY2025, we launched the Engagement Enhancement Project, led by a team consisting of employees from different departments and business sites. Through this project, we will improve organizational and institutional design and workplace culture.
We will continue our efforts to create fulfilling workplaces and enhance employee engagement.
Expanding the employment system for people with disabilities (effective use of special subsidiaries)
Whether at the head office or at the plant, each employee engages in tasks suited to their aptitude, making the most of their individuality through a wide variety of roles. While seeking new tasks to reduce barriers to social participation for people with disabilities, we are fostering an environment where employees with disabilities can work with peace of mind.
Promoting work-style reforms and strengthening office functions
To promote work-style reforms, strengthen office functions, and improve operational efficiency, we moved our head office from Ariake to Gotanda in late November 2024. In the new office, we introduced a free-address system to create an environment where employees can choose the seat best suited to their work for the day. In the head office, we have also set up the Gotanda Branch of the Fujikura Golf Club Consultation Room to provide a space for serving customers. We will continue to foster communication among employees and create a space that encourages new ideas and plans.
As part of our efforts to promote work-style reforms, we held a roundtable discussion with female outside directors and female career-track employees. The meeting aimed to discuss ways to advance women's leadership and strengthen empowerment initiatives. Participants actively discussed personnel systems and other topics, sharing many perspectives on career development.
Through these initiatives, we aim to create a dynamic work environment where all employees can perform to their fullest capacity.
