Human resources strategy
~We share our management philosophy with every employee and create synergy by multiplying factors such as diverse values, teamwork, and the environment.~
Since our establishment in 1901, the foundation of our products has been our "workers." We cultivate working environments where our diverse workforce can maximize their respective strengths and continue to work with motivation and enthusiasm. We examine current systems and implement new ones for work styles and human resource training to continue offering our customers products that provide a sense of security, backed by rewarding workplaces.
Education and training programs
The purpose of our training is to impart the skills and expertise required for each position and function. Our training also aims to develop individuals who can proactively and creatively act to achieve the expected results, while observing our compliance standards and independently assessing matters based on our corporate group’s management philosophy, business philosophy, vision, basic strategies, and code of conduct. Our education system consists of two types: role-specific training and objective-specific training. The role-specific training, which is offered across departments, aims to improve each employee’s interpersonal skills and understanding of the role for their job level. The objective-specific training aims to impart the specialized knowledge necessary for their job and to develop next-generation leaders through a selective process. We also promote pre-training input (self-development) in compliance training, self-development correspondence courses, and other programs to develop our employees’ ability to resolve their own issues.
Promoting employee engagement
We evaluate each employee regularly to ensure they can perform to their full capacity and continue growing. In addition, an in-house extracurricular system was introduced in April 2022 to create opportunities for employees to socialize and to improve their physical and mental health, thereby stimulating communication beyond workplaces. We will continue our efforts to create fulfilling workplaces and enhance employee engagement.

We encourage remote work, satellite offices, and the introduction of a business-casual dress code to accommodate diverse work styles flexibly. In addition, to enable employees to continue to work while raising children or caring for sick or elderly family members, we are enhancing our system to better support reduced working days, shorter working hours, and care and nursing leave.

Invention reward system
"COMPOSITES" is part of our company name. We consider the proprietary technologies we have developed over the years centered on composite technology to be a valuable management resource that supports our business. We offer rewards to employees who have created beneficial inventions, designs, and other works through our invention reward system in line with our employee invention system. For inventions and other works that increase profitability, we offer rewards in accordance with the level of contribution.
Health management initiatives
Since April 2020, we have promoted health management throughout our corporate group. Our philosophy's keyword, "proactive communication," was inspired by our foundation principle, "Fujikura’s spirit of nurturing harmony among people." With these in mind, we strive to promote wellness activities to realize an environment where every employee can shine with energy.

Policy
Recognizing our employees’ health as an essential management resource, the FUJIKURA COMPOSITES Group actively supports individuals to engage in voluntary wellness activities and promotes organizational wellness activities.
The four keywords of our wellness policy are "diet (nutrition)," "rest," "exercise," and "smiling," which promote the "physical, mental, and social health and sense of security" of our employees.
Implementing organizations
As a company listed on the Prime Market, we are promoting corporate health management as one of our initiatives to further enhance and develop our corporate value.
It is essential to promote both company‑wide initiatives and site‑specific measures to address employee health and mental well‑being, based on the company's corporate health management challenges and the results of employee health checkups and stress assessments. For this reason, we have established a company‑wide wellness committee, while each business site has its own wellness promotion committee.
Establishment of the Corporate Health Management Promotion Office
We have maintained Employee Health Management Offices at each business site, staffed by public health nurses who apply their professional expertise to manage employee health.
In FY2025, we established the Corporate Health Management Promotion Office, composed of medical professionals from the Employee Health Management Offices and staff from health insurance associations.
We will effectively implement measures to promote our employees' health through "Collabo-Health" initiatives in collaboration with health insurance associations. We collaborate in sharing health information to enhance our employees' health literacy, aiming to create a workplace where everyone can work with peace of mind.
Wellness promotion activities
Each of our business sites has a Wellness Promotion Committee that encourages health management and implements measures that match each site’s unique circumstances.
