Human rights due diligence
Our corporate group's efforts to respect human rights are overseen by the head of the Administration Division and promoted mainly by the Human Resources and General Affairs Department and the Procurement Management Department. Specifically, these organizations have developed a human rights policy and are working to establish a human rights due diligence mechanism.
Going forward, we will identify human rights risks posed by our business activities to stakeholders, consider and implement corrective measures, and disclose the progress of these measures.
Further, the Legal & Compliance Department leads education for our corporate group's directors and employees on human rights by disseminating the "FUJIKURA COMPOSITES Code of Conduct" through new-employee and role-specific training to promote compliance and awareness, including respect for human rights.
Reporting and consultation desk
We have established a system that enables our employees and those of our business partners to report human rights concerns, and we are continuously working to enhance its effectiveness. In addition, we accept reports and consultations regarding human rights violations from the general public and all stakeholders, including supply chain partners, through the "Contact Us" section of our website. We maintain confidentiality and protect personal information concerning reporting and will not treat whistleblowers to their disadvantage because of their reporting.
Training
To promote respect for human rights and raise employee awareness, in FY2024, we invited external lecturers to conduct harassment training for personnel in leadership roles and above. One hundred sixty-three employees gained knowledge of workplace harassment and deepened their understanding of creating a workplace with high psychological safety.
